To prove it, Allan Bunch of Coastal Cupcakes is teaming with Fortunate Glass for a – yes! – cupcake and wine pairing. The menu includes Red Velvet with Etude Rose; Juniper-Sage with Apricot Butter Cream Icing paired with Lone Madrone Roussanne; Chocolate Pear with Carmel Icing and Tres Picos Grenacha; and Bacon with Maple Cream Cheese Icing paired with Black Stallion Cabernet Sauvignon. The tasting is available all night, but Bunch will be on hand to discuss the selections from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, at 29 S. Front St. in downtown Wilmington.
